Review | P.S. Love Lip Liners

Whilst I love high-end makeup, I absolutely love finding a bargain. And these lip liners are an absolute bargain at just £1 each! I don't think lipliners are worth investing in, as there are so many affordable lip liners in the drugstore now, for example the Essence £1 lipliners or the Rimmel 1000 Kisses Lipliners which are £2.99.

Wishlist | August Pay Day

Firstly, how is it already nearly August? I have no idea where this year has gone and it will be Christmas again before we know it. Not that I'm complaining because Christmas is my favourite time of the year!

This month my wishlist is pretty extensive and I haven't yet worked out how I will afford all this, especially because there are A LOT of birthdays this month! I thought I'd share my wishlist with you guys and see if you had any other recommendations! I think this year has been the Year of the Beauty Launches - just one amazing product after another.

Wow that is a lot of foundations. I am not planning on buying all of these because I think they would probably go off before I had a chance to use them all, especially with the other foundations I already have in my collection that need using. These are the ones I am lusting after and I will probably pick up 1 or 2 of them this month.

I don't know if I am late to the Bandwagon but I didn't know that the Milani website now shipped to the UK?! But I will definitely be putting an order in for the 'Conceal and Perfect' foundation as I have heard so many great things.

In addition, after watching Soph Does Nail's Video (if you don't watch her already, check her channel out here) I want to pick up the New Look Highlighter in 'Gold' as she mentioned that it was a great dupe for MAC Soft & Gentle which is another product I have been lusting after for a long time.

17. Bourjois CC Cream - £9.99

I want to pick up the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer again as I used to use this years ago and loved it, but then moved onto other things! I have also heard great things about the Bourjois Radiance Reveal and Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealers.

There are also a number of lip products I am lusting after (no surprise there!). I have heard a few people say that the Rimmel Lip Liner in 'Addiction' is a good dupe for MAC's Whirl Lipliner, and I love the liner I've already got from Rimmel in 'Eastend Snob' so I think I'll give this a go. In addition, after watching Tati, Glam Life Guru's (she is one of my favourite Youtuber's so definitely check her out here) I want to pick up some of the Essence Liquid Lipsticks after she gave a very positive review! In addition, they're only £2.50!

The final product I'll talk about is the Essence All About Matte Powder. I love the NYX HD Finishing Powder at the moment but it is not very convenient to take around in my handbag so I thought I'd try this, as it looks like a pressed version.

Thanks for reading!

What are you lusting after this month? Is there anything else I should pick up?

Review | Kiko Blending Wave Blushes

Hi all,

I am uploading this post a little earlier than I usually would for a review, however as these are Limited Edition and currently in the KIKO sale reduced to £5.40 from £10.90 I wanted to get this post up so you could purchase if you wish.

I purchased the colours 'Creative Peach' (left) and 'Ingenuous Mauve' (right).

On KIKO's website these are described as:

'Two tone blush with a silky, creamy texture'

Review | Kiko Long Lasting Shadow Sticks

The way in which I acquired these beauties happened like most purchases with me... I went into my local KIKO store to see if they had any of the Radiance Face Powders reduced to £3.90 (bargain!) so that I didn't have to make a £25 minimum spend online, but in the end went in, couldn't find the face powder and spent £30!
My one bugbear with KIKO is that you have to make a minimum spend of £25 online. Whilst I don't usually struggle to make this, it is frustrating when I just want to re-purchase an essential. Luckily though I now live near two KIKO stores which makes them easily accessible.

These Long Lasting Stick Eye shadows retail for £6.90 and can be purchased in store, or online here.

Favourites || My Favourite Base Trio

With Summer fast approaching, I always like to ensure I have a long-lasting, oil controlling base ready for the hot weather (if we're lucky and get any sunshine in the UK!). I find that I switch up my base a lot. I am always trying different things out and this Summer I am pleased to say, I think I have my base hacked!

I didn't include Powder in this, but I will give a shout out to my Rimmel Stay Matte and NYX finishing powders.

Review || Max Factor Creme Puff Blush

Welcome to my blog!

I thought I'd kick off with one of my favourite type of posts: a review.

I have been meaning to pick up these Max Factor Creme Puff Blushes for a while now, but it has taken me this long to bite the bullet as they come in quite pricey at £9 a piece. However, when in my local Tesco last week, these were on 2 for £12 so I decided to pick them up.

I decided to pick up the shades 'Nude Mauve' and 'Lovely Pink'. These are two beautiful colours and I thought they gave a good spectrum of the collection as they are quite different. In addition, Nude Mauve seems like a great dupe for the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in 'Mood Exposure' which retails for £32 but at a third of the price.
