Review | P.S. Love Lip Liners

Whilst I love high-end makeup, I absolutely love finding a bargain. And these lip liners are an absolute bargain at just £1 each! I don't think lipliners are worth investing in, as there are so many affordable lip liners in the drugstore now, for example the Essence £1 lipliners or the Rimmel 1000 Kisses Lipliners which are £2.99.

I am not sure how many shades these come in and I can't give you a website description of these, as Primark doesn't retail these online however I will give you my impressions!

I have picked up 4 shades, after battling through all the clutter in my local Primarks.

I have the shades from left to right, 'Light Pink', 'Dark Pink', 'Wine' and 'Brown'.

These lip liners have the perfect balance between  being waxy enough to stay all day and help your lipstick to 'stick' to your lips, but also being creamy enough that they are not uncomfortable and don't drag when you apply them.

They have a great shade selection, they have everything from nudes, to brights, to more deep colours like the shade 'Wine'.

These pencils are wooden and you will need a sharpener, so they are not as convenient as the retractable pencils, however I find that when a lip liner is in this form, the crayon doesn't snap as easily.

These really are fantastic lip liners, and at £1 you really can't go wrong! You can wear them with lip stick/gloss to add more pigment and prolong the longevity, or you can wear these by themselves. Like most lip liners, these have a semi-matte finish.

Thanks for reading!

Have you tried these or any other P.S. Love products?

  1. I have Wine and I thought it was so good for the price. I rarely buy lip liners even though I probably should. I think I'll definitely have to get a few more colours as dark pink looks gorgeous!

    1. It's fantastic isn't it! I never used to because I didn't really know why I needed them but now they are a life saver in terms of stopping lipsticks from bleeding and making them last longer! Thanks for stopping by :) x

  2. I've not tried any Primark makeup but now I will definitely check the lip liners. I'm with you on the fact that there's no need to spend lots of money on lip liners when there are really great one in drugstore. x

  3. I don't really use lip liners so I wouldn't ever spend so much on them. I haven't checked primark ones yet, when I'm in the store I will give them a try! x

  4. I have read about these and it's nice to see they worked for you as well, Liv! You definitely can't go wrong with a £1 lip liner. Even though I do not own a single one I might just pick it up to give it a go :)

  5. I've never tried anything from the primark makeup range, so I'm quite tempted to start with these liners - especially since they seem so good for the price!
